Ithaca 1911A1 .45ACP caliber pistol. Carried by WWll Bomber Pilot. Made in 1943. Very neat rig identified to Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Redden. Lt. Col. Redden was a Bomber Pilot in the European Theatre in WWll. After returning stateside he was a professor at West Point and was last stationed in Albuquerque, NM. The gun is interesting in that it is a Lend Lease 1911. It has all the British proofs and marks as well as the release marking of 1952. This means that Lt. Col. Redden acquired this gun after 1952. Gun rates at 95% of the original finish. Bore is excellent. Gun comes with a GI Holster.
