***This gun was selected to be restored because of its EXTREME rarity, even though the bore has no rifling remaining.
This gun was professionally restored by a retired German gunsmith who had previously worked for many years at the Mauser factory in Germany.
This gun was obtained directly from the personal collection of the man who oversaw the importation of nearly all the imported surplus military weapons from China during the 1970’s & 1980’s.
He had one of the finest military collections in the United States.
