FRENCH PERCUSSION LARGE BORE OFFICERS PISTOL
Description: A French percussion Officers Pistol , circa 1835, in Very Good to FINE condition. The octogon barrel is 7" long. The overall length of the pistol is 12". There is a container in the butt cap to store percussion caps, etc. The butt cap, trigger guard and ramrod holder are in German silver and in fine condition. The handgrip is nicely checkered. The hammer, lock, tang, butt cap, and trigger guard are all engraved. There is a front sight. The hammer holds on half and full cock and the action is strong. A very handsome pistol There is no makers name or serial number. This is an antique so it can be sent directly to the new owner.
