One of the first Type 14 Nambus ever made. Manufactured by Tokyo/Kokura Army Arsenals second year of production, February, 1929 (4.2), serial number 2491. All serial numbers match except Type II magazine, which is correct Tokyo/Kokura type with flattened base and machined (not cast) extractor grooves. The early Type 14s from this arsenal are the most aesthetically attractive of all these Nambus.
Blue 95% plus with some age mottling, graying and wear spots overall. Plated and straw parts are excellent. Bore is bright with sharp lands. Wood grips no chips, excellent. Functions perfectly.
Payment accepted by cashiers check, money order, wire transfer. I am a private collector and will ship from my FFL dealer to yours. Three day inspection privileges, no disassembly or firing. Return in same condition as sent for purchase price refund less handling, shipping and insurance.
