CASED PAIR OF BELGIAN PERCUSSION PISTOLS
Description: A nice cased pair of Belgian percussion pistols in excellent condition. They have .58 caliber 3 & 3/4' octagon barrels with a browned damascus finish. The rest of the metal is finished in bright steel. The overall length is 8". The actions are strong. and the percussion caps are also excellent. The powder flask is in nice condition and the the top spring is strong. The bullet mold has an auger at one end.. The wooden case and lineing are also in excellent condition . There is a key to the case but the lock does not work. There is also a small round container for percussion caps. There is no makers name and no label in the case. There is the number 50 stamped in the wood of each pistol near the butts and one pistol is marked "647" and the other is marked "648" in that same area. . Both pistols have the original steel ramrods with brass tips. A complete and nice set. Circa 1840's. These are believed to have been made in Belgium but there are no proof marks visible. There may be some under the barrels which have not been explored. There is a mark on the rear end of each lock which should be researched. A NO interest payment plan is available with easy terms.
