E & W. BOND- British Infantry Officers Belt Pistols
( A PAIR)
Description: A nice pair of British Military Infantry Officers Pistols made by E & W. Bond in Cornhill, London ( stamped on the barrel tops). The locks are also in bright steel with blued hammers and safeties. The locks are marked with the Bond name clearly legible. They were converted in 1839 and that date is still legible on one of the barrel tops. There are proof marks on each barrel . The ramrods look original to the guns. The butts and trigger guards are in brass. All of the metal is in very good condition .. The hammers hold on full and half cock and both safeties work properly. The actions are strong.
