The Ruger New Vaquero 2005 XR3 was introduced in 2005. This model has a backstrap different than the previous two versions. A good way to identify this model is that it has a safety or internal lock. The Firearm Says New Vaquero.
The Ruger 50th Anniversary Blackhawk .357 Says 50th Anniversary on the Firearm.
The 2006 Blackhawk Also Has a Different Size Frame Than the Early Blackhawks.
