The conversion was very neatly done, probably in a military arsenal. The brass has a nice patina and the rest of the metal is clean and in excellent condition. The wood ( looks like walnut) is also in very good conditiom. There is no makers mark but there is the number "280" on the left side-opposite the hammer.Probably an inventory or regimental number. There is also a proof mark on the trigger guard, another in the brass on the left side opposite the hammer and a "9" in the wood just above that. The action is very strong. There is a ramrod and a lanyard ring at the bottom of the grip and a front and rear sight. Overall, a nice piece. Antique- No FFL required. A no interest payment plan is available.
