Incredibly Rare 1st Model Plant. Factory engraved this, is a super rare gun! It’s a factory engraved Plant 1st model that has no markings. Gun is factory engraved. Only trace amounts of the original blue are on the barrel where is mostly a smooth brown patina. The frame has 20% or so of the silver plated finish. Grips are excellent. Barrel is 5” long where the standard is 6”. This gun is also much closer in size to a Smith & Wesson #2 Army than a regular size plant. Flayderman’s describes these as “resembling an oversized S&W #2 Army”. Since these 1st models are so scarce, we do not have another to compare it to. Due to this gun not having any markings or serial number, we are unsure if this is a prototype or maybe one of the inventor’s guns, or both. Very interesting gun. We also welcome any input if you have information on this piece.
