Description:
A very nice colt Martial 1860 Army Revolver in .44 cal.The gun has two sharp cartouches on the grips and all subinspectors initials. Th cylonder scene is retained to about 95% and is clear. The bore is shiny with sharp rifling. Mechanically the gun is tight and indexes perfectly. SN 96XXX all matching including wedge and arbor pin. There are three notches on the top of the left grip, perhaps indicating the number of persons shot with the gun. The butt is cut for a shoulder stock, but it is only a three screw army. The gun retains a few traces of blue, but is mostly an even grey patina. Reduced!!
