Description: Colt Model 1855 Root #6. SN 10595. Blue with case colored hammer, loading lever and trigger. .31 cal. 5 shot w/3 1/2" barrel. This all matching number revolver is in very fine condition retaining 90% blue and beautiful case coloring on the hammer and loading lever. The walnut grips are about perfect with 100% original varnish. The action operates flawlessly and the bore is absolutely spotless. The case has its original burgundy velvet lining and holds a full complement of accoutrements including the correct Colt's Patent mold, a very fine Eagle and Shield flask, and unopened pack of cartridge envelopes, and un opened Goldmark cap tin, a working key and a rerely encountered cleaning rod.
