Colt Single Action Army, U.S. Martial, Cal. 45 LC
US Military
Description:
Serial numbered in the 82,000 range, this U.S. contract Cavalry Model was manufactured in 1882. It appears to be 100% correct with no replacement parts, and has survived in excellent original condition. It retains approximately 65% vivid case colors on the frame and 75% military blue on the barrel, cylinder, and grip straps. The grips are dated on the left panel above the initials of John E. Greer, Chief Ordnance Inspector in this serial number range, and the right grip bears the cartouche of principal sub-inspector, David F. Clark. All serial numbers are matching, including the barrel and cylinder, showing the last four digits of the number. The bore is very good and the action is excllent. No excuses, just a very nice Indian War period gun that saw very little use. PRICE: $26,500 We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974. PH. 859-276-1419 We Buy, Sell and Trade Firearms & Knives. Have a Individual Firearm, Firearms Collection, or Firearms Estate to sell, let us know, we can buy or consignment sell it for you. (sales at am-firearms)
