RARE Winchester Shipped Antique Colt SAA Revolver .45cal Presentation Inscribed w/Holster 1878!
Description:
Very unusual, gifted presentation, early black powder Colt SAA revolver, with old cartridge belt and brass spotted holster shipped to Winchester, in 1878! There is a silver, oval shaped plaque, on each side of the wood grips, inscribed "Presented by C. Black, Villa Lardo, Mexico" on the right grip. "To; J.H. Gibson" on the left grip. Villa Lardo, Mexico is in the state of Durango, Mexico, there is much early western history associated there. All 5 serial #'s match, including the barrel and cylinder. The wood grips are original to the gun, as well. There is some very fine pitting on the barrel near the barrel address, but, it is still 50% visible. The mechanics are good, the bore would rate very good, the patent dates and serial #'s are nice and clear. Very rare, and unusual, presentation inscribed, early Colt single action revolver, from one friend to another!! Please ask questions if desired. NO FFL required, unless the state you live in requires one for transfer, city of NY, NJ, etc.... Shipping with insurance included is $40.00, to the lower 48 states. AK and HI may be higher. Thank you.
