Colt First Generation Single Action Army Bisley Model 32-20 Caliber SAA 1st 1902
Description:
Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are sure proud to offer this very fine example of Colt's model of 1873, the single action army. Made in the year of our Lord 1902, this gun is built on the highly desirable Bisley frame. Colt was smart to offer popular rifle cartridges in their six guns, allowing cowboys to carry one ammo for 2 guns. The 32-20 chambering and 5 1/2 inch barrel really push up the value of this wheel gun. The .32 is the smallest centerfire found in the 1873. Best of all, it is in amazing condition for being 113 years old. The stampings are very good, and the prancing Colt shows about the full circle around it. The bore is very good, with considerable shine, strong rifling, and no pitting. The action is crisp, with all hammer positions working as designed. The grips, numbered to the gun, have the best fit I have seen in a Bisley in a long time. These early Colts continue to skyrocket in value, and are a sound investment. If you have been looking for the right first genny gun with the added clout of a Bisley frame, desirable caliber and a great bore, then look no further.
