SCARCE BISLEY VARIATION, 7 1/2" BARREL VERSION IN .41 COLT CAL., MADE 1900
Description: ONE OF THE MOST DIFFICULT AND SCARCE BISLEY VARIATIONS IS THIS 7 1/2" BARREL VERSION IN .41 COLT CHAMBERING, MADE 1900, for whatever reason, the .41 Colt chambering is almost never found in SAAs or Bisley Models with 7 1/2" barrels, in fact in about 30 years I've only seen a very small few and those seem to have been made in the first year or so of the last century, this one is basically a gray/brown revolver with matching numbers (194XXX), aside from stag grips, the only alteration is the front sight blade which is a replacement, there is still some aged blue in the cylinder flutes and some traces of blue in the most protected frame and ejector housing parts, fine markings (the "BISLEY MODEL" marking on the barrel is a little weak but readable), fine action with only the first notch weak or gone, locks up fine, bore should scrub out about exc., you could look for years and never find another .41 Colt Bisley with 7 1/2" barrel.
