Colt New Service 1917 Military Issue in .45 ACP. with Accessories in Wooden Case
Description:
This is an original Colt New Service 1917 army issue for WWI. It is chambered in .45 ACP. and comes with a wooden case that includes a lanyard, military issue cleaning rod and three full moon clips. It also includes a copy of the Colt New Service brochure from the same time period as well as paperwork from 2003 stating that it came from the collection of John Kopec, noted author and Colt military expert. The gun is mechanically perfect and the bore is excellent. The original walnut grips remain in excellent condition and are free from cracks and chips. The original military issue Colt blue finish is very good with just a little loss on the left side of the barrel. The butt is marked U.S. Army Model 1917 No. 71184. The under side of the barre is marked: "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". I also have a matching Smith & Wesson 1917 listed that would make an excellent pair. I offer a three day non firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information. Please see my other Colts and various collectible firearms that I have listed. Thanks for your interest and please let me know if you have any questions. Sold Pending Funds!
Please Note: A same as cash price Lay-A-Way plan is available on this gun. Please call to discuss.
