Colt Police Positive 32-20 Revolver
Description:
Serial # 401007, .32-20, 6” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome 2nd Issue revolver, made in 1931, with an earlier, 1st Issue barrel (1905 patent date) that retains about 98% original brilliant Colt blue throughout. The barrel was used until 1926, but may have been pulled from the bin at the factory as a left over when this gun was built. There is some mild silvering along the high edges, a few minor impact marks on the top of the barrel, and a light turn-ring on the cylinder.
Some further minor freckling is present within the cylinder flutes, and along the gripstraps. The checkered walnut Colt medallion grips are in excellent shape with only a a few negligible marks along the butt, and very little flattening of the points. The action is tight and functions flawlessly. This is a truly nice revolver, chambered in a great and useful caliber.
