Colt 1851 London Navy Cased and lnscribed Lt. Mackirdy 69th Regt. (on plaque on lid of case) and inscribed on the backstrap ""Lt. Colonel Mackirdy"". This fine cased outfit comes with a history of the 69th (South Lincolnshire Regiment of Foot) and Colonel, later General Mackirdy's service in the 69th regiment. The gun is all matching and is factory London engraved. The cylinder scene is excellent. The safety pins on the back of the cylinder are intact and excellent. Bore is perfect. Grips have 95% varnish. The case is lined in green original velveteen. Accessories include a Colts patent bullet mold, a James Dixon and Son ""bag"" flask, a very fine packet of skin cartridge for Colt Navy pistol, an Eley green label cap can (full of caps), case key and a few old .36 caliber balls, Fine cased factory engraved, inscribed and with history.
