Colt 1917 Army Revolver 45 ACP
Description:
Serial #261757 (Army # 107041), .45 ACP, 5 1/2” barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some very mild freckling within the grooves.
This is a 1920-made revolver that has retained 97-98% of a very well done reblued finish throughout.
The hammer has been cleaned to a gray aptina along the sides with specks of minor freckling on the spur.
The sideplate has the “rampant colt” trademark at the very rear, just ahead of the knuckle screw, and a pair of SILE, checkered walnut grips in excellent, almost new condition are fitted.
The action times and locks flawlessly.
This is a very nice .45 caliber DA Colt that looks great and can be fired without fear of lessening or ruining the condition.
It is a very fine revolver as refinished.
