#4945 Colt S/A 4-3/4”x41COLT, 131xxx serial range (1890)
Description:
#4945 Colt S/A 4-3/4”x41COLT, 131xxx serial range (1890), the bore is about an 7 to 7-1/2 on a scale of 10, and the mechanics are fine with good lock-up, timing, and all clicks on the hammer. Correct two-line barrel address on VG+ metal with faint traces of faded grey-blue in the protected areas and just having some minor bumps and bruises and the markings are all very good. The Eagle-less hard rubber grips show very little wear, about 90% overall, and have no chips or repairs. These 41 calibered Single Actions have the unique benefit of being able to also shoot the 38/40 cartridge with just a simple change of the cylinder, since the bore diameter of both the 38/40 and 41 are .406 …and of the five common calibers that the Single Action was chambered for in the First Gen model, the 41COLT was BY FAR the scarcest caliber. This one is a very decent (and scarce) short-barreled .41Colt. VG+ $3295
