A fine Colt first generation single action army revolver, .45x 4 3/4" barrel. Bore is excellent with sharp rifling and no pits. The basic blue has plummed out some, but much blue remains. SN 181XXX all matching. The frame is the smokeless type, because it was shipped in 1898, but still is considered an antique. It was shipped to Hubbard, Spencer in Chicago in 1898. All markings are shsrp and the gun indexes well. Grips show little wear and go well with the gun. Nice clean unmessed with SAA. Case colors are strong on frame. A great gun for the price. REDUCED!!
