Rare Colt 3rd Model Hartford London Dragoon serial #18 and pictured in Joseph G-Rosa’s book Colonel Colt London. Listed as being from the reknown Colt collection of Dr. Chester Bonoff of Los Angeles. The revolver is cased in the proper English mahogany case with key, cleaning rod, nipple wrench mold, oiler, large English Cap Can; Silvered powder flask by Sykes and a rosewood container for extra nipples. Action works perfectly. Gun has fine English scroll engraving and has an excellent cylinder scene. Grips are burl walnut. Gun has very good blue. Grip straps have traces of silver. The case is very good with some abrasion to the cloth interior and some scratches and nicks to the wooden exterior. This is a very handsome set and it would be very difficult to find another.
