SMITH & WESSON HAND EJECTOR M&P 1905
Description:
94% blue, near mint bore, very good grips, 6'' barrel , Late manufacture 4th change variation made circa 1942, chambered for the short .38 S&W cartridge, and probably made especially for export to England. Original blue finish, casehardened grooved trigger and fine checkered hammer, with original checkered walnut diamond grips with silver S&W medallions. Matching serial numbers on the cylinder and barrel. Five screw frame. Casehardened lanyard ring mounted on the butt of the grip frame. This example has British view proofs over each cylinder chamber and on the lower right corner of the frame. The British "tons' export markings are stamped on the bottom of the barrel underneath the ejector rod. The metal finish shows some minor sharp edge wear with scattered light handling scratches. The cylinder has a prominent turn line however the revolver appears to have been used very little internally. Mechanically excellent, smooth action with tight cylinder lockup. Our import mark on the butt of frame. C&R/FFL
