Engraved Post-war Smith and Wesson 22/32 kit gun in correct red box
Description:
Copied from Fjestad's Blue Book: Pre-war kit guns in ser. no. range approx. 525670 to 536684 will bring a 400%-500% premium over above values, if in 95%+ condition. Mfg. 1935-1941. Early post-war kit guns in ser. no. range approx. 536685 to 590000 similar values in like condition. Mfg. 1946-1952. This revolver has serial # 579856. I date to approx. 1950. Has been beautifully engraved. If you collect this model fits between pre war kit gun and the "model of 1953" If you are having trouble getting any of these guns drop me a line. I have more of the pre war 22/32's and "model of 1953" in my collection but this is the only post war 22/32 kit gun I've ever seen! Red box is correct but not numbered to the gun. Not fired after engraving/bluing. It's like NIB. Fjestad's blue book shows: Grading 100% 98% 95% 90% 80% 70% 60% 50% 40% 30% 20% 10% N/A $4,000 $3,000 $2,750 $2,000 $1,500 $1,400 $1,200 $1,000 $800 $600 $400 Add 10% for original box. I'm not too sure about that 400-500% premium so I'm starting at $4000 and letting the market set the price. See pics. It is truly a beautiful gun. Thanks capt. John
