S&W Ed McGivern Heritage Series Model 15-9 Revolver 150 Built
Description:
Serial BCC0039, .38 Special, 6” barrel with an excellent, bright bore.
This handsome revolver retains virtually all of the original blue finish on the barrel and cylinder with the frame retaining all of the original Doug Turnbull color case-hardened finish.
The revolver is outfitted with an adjustable rear sight mated to a McGivern front sight blade, and the right side of the receiver is fitted with a commemorative plaque listing two of his five shot records (indeed, several of McGiven's actual demonstration and record setting guns are marked with such plaques).
The checkered, diamond-center, S&W medallion grips are also in virtually unused condition with no wear or handling marks in the wood.
The revolver is housed in its original two-piece box with manual, papers, trigger lock, and factory fired cartridge case.
This is a superbly finished Smith & Wesson in practically new-in-box condition.
