Serial Number 4857 was originally sent to Remington Arms-Union Metallic Cartridge Co, agents for the British Government, on January 14, 1915. This .455 Hand Ejector Triplelock has had the cylinder changed and is marked 112265, and is chambered in .45 acp. Gun retains the original blue finish in protected areas with most of it's finish turned a grey. There are British proofs stamped on the frame and barrel as is correct. The lockup is good with little cylinder wobble. The grips are nice with no chips but the expected dents and bruising. The bore is dark with strong rifeling. Included is a lanyard on the factory lanyard ring.
