The barrel has a brass blade front sight and a tangent rear sight graduated to 800 yards. The right side of the receiver is marked: "SHARPS & HANKINS / PHILDA" and the left side is marked: "SHARPS / PATENT / 1859". The serial number is located on the upper tang, on the lever bar, the underside of the barrel and the underside of the frame under the lever. Serial Number: 1859. Smooth straight grip stock with brass buttplate. Sling swivel is missing. See pictures Condition: Very good considering its age. The receiver retains 60% plus original case colors concentrated mainly on the sides with a smooth gray patina on the balance.
