Scherping, Hannover Double rifle
Description:
Barrels marked Scherping, Hannover and Hofeuchsenmacher Caliber 10.75x52R Gruendig made between 1905 & 1912. rifle proof marked in Suhl before 1912 Rifle had chambers cast done by the Dutchman Wood Works Clarence Center New York. Mechanics excellent locks tight to face. Bores very good condition with some darkness in grooves no rust or pitting. Engraving excellent no pitting or rust to surface. Wood very good with handling marks,forearm has sliver of wood missing. Serial numbers all match. Krupp Steel marked on both barrels. Claw mounts mounted on top, I believe these were added at a later date. Flip up tang sight mounted in front of thump safe. Barrel length 25 1/4" Need more information please call 716-941-3946
