Description: A very unique pistol grip short snider rifle built by John Reeves and Co. The only markings on the snider are the makers name and logo on the lock and SN? 30 on the bayonet stud. The commercial proofs over 25 are on the left side of the barrel. The barrel also shows an electric pencil #WR21740. We assume that this is a form of registration marking from either South Africa or Australia. Our research disclosed that John Reeves started in business and Co, 18 Weaman , Row, Birmingham.
