Description: 28" SxS fluid-steel Enfield-rifled barrels with full flat solid rib, fine front bead, 1 standing & 2 folding platinum-lined express sights engraved for 50, 200 and 250 yards, and passive doll's head extension. 15"pull from front trigger to original checkered horn buttplate. Figured English walnut stock with Anson pushbutton-release splinter forend, steel capped pistol grip, beaded pancake cheekpiece, classic point-pattern checkering and vacant silver oval. Fully scroll engraved receiver, cocking on the fall of the barrels, with Jones underlever, gold-line cocking indicators, manual top-tang bolted safety with SAFE inlaid in gold, vestigial bosses on receiver top replicating a hammer-gun's sight picture, bottom tang extending to grip cap and top tang extending over comb. Weight: 8lbs, 12 1/2oz. Engraved: Charge 4 drams, Case 3 1/4 inches. Built for Lord Manners in 1892. Retaining 99%blue and 90%casehardening colors.
