Guns International #: 100703793
Seller's Inventory #: 3081
This Model 1908 while in all appearances appears identical to the classic 1903 Carbine is chambered in 8x56 Mannlicher Schonauer . This cartridge was very popular in Europe and develops a bit more power than our 35 Remington. I am including a box of ammunition with this rifle.
A very nice bore on this classic. Notice the weight. These rifles are known for how nice they are to pack and carry and I cannot agree more after holding this fine example.
The stock is quite dark and dry so would suggest a new oil finish. *** Note: To see this gun with high resolution photos and a zoom-in feature, go to the vintagedoubles main site and search for the gun ID: 3081 or browse the main site to see our full gun collection.
