Description:
Firearm is a vintage Whitworth Custom Mauser chambered in .375 H&H, most likely imported in the early 1970"s by Interarms of Alexandria, Virginia. Condition is excellent with nearly perfect metal finish both inside and out, wood stock has a couple minor dings here and there but nothing too major. Bore is in absolutely PERFECT condition and shines like a mirror. A very rare and extremely well built firearm at an exceptional price.
Built in Manchester England on a Mauser Action, the Whitworth Express Rifles are seldom known as there was a very limited number imported. Even fewer in numbers are the rifles chambered in the "Big Bore" calibers such as .375 H&H.
This rifle appears to have been upgraded to a Circassian Walnut stock with a rosewood grip cap and forend tip. Factory features include a high polish deep blue finish, express sights with folding leaves out to 300 yards and a barrel band with sling swivel. Receiver is also drilled and tapped for scope mounts.
Caliber: .375 H&H Magnum
Overall Length: 44.5"
Barrel Length: 24"
Length of Pull: 13 3/4"
Capacity: 3 Round Internal Box
Weight: 8.5 LBS
Recoil Pad: Pachmayr Decelerator
Pictures are of exact firearm you will receive!
Shipping $30.00, ships in a Plano Hardcase for an additional $19.99
