Pre-WWII Soviet Mosin 1891/30 HEX Receiver Rifle
Description: Pre-WWII Soviet Mosin 1891/30 HEX Receiver Rifle Dated “1922” w Bayonet & Double Ammo Pouch Here we present a Soviet Mosin-Nagant 1891/30 Rifle, made in 1922 at the Izhevsk arsenal. This rifle would have been a participant in some of the most impactful events in the 20th century. World War I had ended not long ago, and1922 was nearing the end of the struggle for the fate of Russia, with the Bolsheviks successfully defeating virtually all foes. Once in power, the Red Army was wielded many times to put down rebellions by force. This rifle was updated and arsenal refurbished, probably on more than one occasion, extending its service life to see World War II, or the Great Patriotic War as it was known in the Soviet Union. Of course, these were still in use even after WWII and into the Cold War. This specimen features an early design hexagonal receiver, dated 1922. The receiver is covered in markings. It is chambered in the 7.62x54R cartridge, with a magazine capacity of 5. This rifle also includes a canvas sling, socket bayonet, and double ammunition pouch. The rear sight it graduated out to 2000 meters, and the front sight is a hooded post. The overall condition is fine. The blued finish on the gun is very nearly complete. The markings are clear and legible. The external numbers on the bolt, barrel, butt plate and magazine are matching. The stock is solid, with just a few handling marks. The bore is well-rifled and clean. The action is strong. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 29 inches in length. Caliber: 7.62x54R Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $800 #10446 SOLD Antique: Yes |
