Description:
This Webley 1902 .450 Nitro Express is in very good condition. The bore is shiney and shows no pitting.
The caliber is .450 x 3 1/4" nitro express and shows nitro proof marks. The wood to metal fit is good and the engraving is crisp. Some color case hardening is visible. The wooden stock shows a few minor dings and I believe that this rifle has never been refinished. The barrel is 26 inches long and the stock pull is 13 1/2". The action works very smoothly and the recoil pad is in excellant condition. The sights are set for 100, 200 and 300 yards. The rifle does not appear to have had much use. 1902 Webley rifles are very desireable and are excellent hunting rifles and ones like this one are not seen for sale very offen. The recoil pad is leather covered. There are small numbers on the bottom of the stock that indicates that the rifle came from the hunting armory of an Indian maharajah. This rifle must be shipped to an individual with an FFL license. I can be contacted by cell phone using the following number: 740 632 1799
