Rodda, 50 Stafford St., B'Ham: 475 #2 Nitro Express Double Rifle Made in 1909 with 24" Chopper Lump Ejector barrels with rib extension & Greener style cross bolt, 1/4 rib with 1 standing & 2 folding rear sights, Double triggers, Bushed strikers, Proved at 85 Cordite with a 480 grain bullet, 14 7/16"" L.O.P. over a 1" Silvers pad, 11 lbs. 8 oz., Sling eyes, Steel grip cap, The buttstock and forend wood remains solid, The bores remain good only but it is accurate with square rifling, Border engraving, This entire gun was completely refinished by Westley Richards in England and then exported to their agency when they were in Springfield, Missouri, This refinish included fresh color hardening, The wood was reoiled and the checkering sharpened up, It has nice wood with good contrast, The piece overall remains in 97% condition since redone by Westley in England. This is a solid working 475 #2 with proper big bore weight. This gun will shoot under 2" consistently at 50 yards from an experienced shooter. //////////////////////// R. B.
