This is a very nice Springfield U.S. Model 1884 dated 1889. The rifle is in very good condition with around 50% blue and a trace of case color. The walnut stock is in very good condition with dings and dents. The wood still has very strong finish and clear cartouches.The bore is shiny with very nice rifling. All in all a very nice rifle.
