Winchester Model 1873 1st Model Round Barrel

Description:
Beautiful Winchester Model 1873 1st Model in Really Great Condition ( Serial # 20xxx - 1876 Vintage ). Metal is in the 90% Range with most of the Original Blue. Case Colors are Fantastic with the right side showing some age (Darker than the left side). Gun was displayed over a fireplace forever in a ranch out west as I understand. Round Barrel Blue is Very Good with a mark where the rear sight ramp may have been replaced. Lettering on the address is good. Wood has a few minor handling marks and retains 85-90% of the Original Finish. Bore is good for a gun of this vintage. Haven't received the letter on it as of yet but according to the party I got it from, it does letter. Doesn't appear that the gun got used very much because of its great condition. Gun is Fantastic Condition. A really nice find. Priced to sell. Thanks for Looking.
Addendum: Just received the factory letter on this gun. It was originally ordered as a Carbine. On Novenber 9, 1878 it was chanhed to a 26" Round Barrel, Casehardened with Sling and Swivels added. Not so sure about any refinish work on this gun. The more I look at it the better it gets!!!!
