Description:
This Winchester 73 is a second model with serial number of 62k. Some one certainly wanted a fancy carbine since it was ordered nickel finish with engraving. Also with deluxe wood. You don't often see that on a carbine. Bbl has 60-70% nickel flaking throughout the length of it. The mag tube is pretty much flaked on the bottom. Receiver is about the same as the bbl with a lot of nickel missing. Some wear to the metal parts and some light pitting. This has deluxe wood that is in quite good condition. It was freshened years ago. A very pretty piece of wood. The forearm has a chip out towards the frame on the right side. Otherwise good overall condition. If you want to flash your 1873 this would be a good one for you!
