TRULY UNIQUE SET OF 3 WINCHESTER 1873 RIFLES WITH CONSECUTIVE SERIAL NUMBERS
Description:
All 3 are 38-40 with round barrels, the same sights and the same rifle style buttplates. They complement each other beautifully with about 50-60% identical blue. Traces of case colors on each. Wood has about 50% original varnish remaining. All bores are near excellent. Apparently they have been together since day 1. 388k serial ranges and received in the Warehouse on July 28, 1891. Shipped from the Warehouse on July 28, 1891. Order number 8189. Someone apparently ordered these 3 and kept them together all these years. They had to have used them equally evident by the matching condition on all 3. A very unusual set unlike any I have seen. Often consecutive sets have one mint and one re-blued but not these. These are 100% correct.
