28 inch octagon barrel chambered in 40-60 WCF caliber with full length mag and a crescent style butt plate. Bore has shine with a few very fine scattered pits and visible rifling. Still very shootable. Crisp action. Barrel and mag tube are mostly a plum/brown patina. Receiver is a gray/brown with the protected areas retaining original blue. Wood is good fitting with some handling mars. There is a bruise on the right side of the forearm. Good traces of case color on the hammer and lever. Good honest looking lever action rifle from 1887 complete with Factory Letter from Cody.
