Winchester 1892 SRC with South America Military Markings Martial World war 1
Description:
!SOLD!- 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine in .44 WCF. The serial number is 8155xx which dates it at 1916
This particular gun has almost an unfired bore and internals..it has some foreign proof marks that I have found referenced by a couple of other guys who all think this is a foreign service mark on left side. The great part is it was special ordered and the marks inside the tang and wood match and again the bore and itnernals are mint. On the exterior yes it has been refinished but not poorly done. And the sling swivels are installed this way on all the ones like this I have found. So this is an interesting gun to add to yur collection of interesting 1892's
When it was imported by "Century Arms Inc., St. Albins VT" they marked it as they did the onees that came in at same time on the metal under the lever). I wish I knew more about it's history, but I don't. Blue is good and the bore is perfect...few small areas of blue loss...wood is very nice and shows to be original. Overall a very nice rare rifle to add to a collector.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>I am an individual and can ship direct to most FFL's if your ffl needs it to go to a dealer then you will have to pay the cost that my FFL charges to ship to you typically 30 if it is to California then he charges 60. This is on top of shipping guys..Again this is a great gun and I include alot of good pics. Shipping is for standard shipping if you want insurance or want it expedited it will be more. Please look at my other s and very interesting pieces. Also I dont do this full time it is for fun guys so please be patient when it comes to immediate replies to emails and it must ship the next day, etc, etc...I do this because I enjoy >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
