This is a Winchester Model 70 in .375 Magnum. This classic Winchester was manufactured in 1948, and features the famous countrolled round feed action with the Mauser-style claw extractor. The receiver has a matte blued finish, and is drilled and tapped for scope bases. The bluing on the receiver is beginning to thin, and there are some handling marks and marks from where scope bases were installed. The barrel has a high gloss blued finish, showing some light scratches from wear and use. The Walnut stock is checkered in the wrist and forearm, and has a red Winchester rubber buttpad. The stock shows minimal signs of wear or use, with minor handling marks and some very light impressions.
