C&R WINCHESTER Model 1890 PUMP Action .22 RIFLE
Description:
C&R WINCHESTER Model 1890 PUMP Action .22 RIFLE
Easy Takedown Rifle in .22 Rimfire Short
Here we present a Winchester Model 1890 Slide Action Rifle, made in 1906 in New Haven Connecticut. The Winchester Model 1890 was designed by the prodigious firearms designer John Moses Browning and his brother Matthew S. Browning. As would be expected of a JMB design, the rifle did very well, especially when compared to the similarly pump actioned Colt Lightning in .22. These rifles were popular with sportsman, as well as for use in shooting galleries in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
This third model rifle is in very good overall condition. The metal surfaces show some of the original blue finish, with a brown patina filling in. Butt plate has been polished bright. The markings are clear and legible. The walnut stock is smooth, with a couple of short repaired cracks around the wrist. The cracks are stable, but there is a slight movement of the stock on the receiver. The bore is fine and shiny. The action is strong.
This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic.
Caliber: .22 Rimfire Short
Overall condition as seen in photos.
Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic.
