Winchester Model 07 .351 WSL caliber rifle. Manufactured in 1946. Special order from Winchester for the Nebraska Safety Patrol. Marked on the left side of buttstock “Nebraska Safety Patrol” frame is rack numbered “28” on left side of frame. Bore is excellent. Action works perfectly. We have handled both the Nebraska and Illinois patrol rifles. As a side note, the lawmen at the Bonnie and Clyde shootout used Winchester self-loading rifles, amongst other guns. This rifle has 95% original blue and 95% original varnish on the stocks. Magazine (clip) has black enamel paint which we have not seen on these state issued rifles. They are usually blued.
