William Lawrence, New Hampshire Made, 10 Gauge Double Shotgun
Description: This is a 10 gauge percussion double shotgun made by William Lawrence of Laconia, Belknap County New Hampshire 1867-1869. It is a very nice American made shotgun. 32” nicely browned Damascus barrels with platinum inlay at the breach. The locks are engraved as well as the hammers, top tang, trigger guard and finial, lower tang, cap box in the lower butt. The wrist checkering is sharp and the ebony ram-rod has a auger tip with screw off cover. The wood has a professional repair to the comb and wrist and is a very solid repair. The mechanical function is very good and functions perfectly. The bores have only a very slight amount of fine frosting. I am not a gunsmith but this could be a great shooter. I would consider trades for pre 1899 ANTIQUE PISTOLS and rifles on any of my items.. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO TRADE? Ask about our 30-90 day lay-away program. We accept Bank Check, Money order, Personal checks or wire transfer. SOLD Antique: Yes
