Henry Atkin Sidelock Ejector, circa 1899, 12 bore, 2 1/2" chambers, 30" replacement barrels 1953 and nitro proved at 1 1/8 oz. with smooth concave game rib engraved "Henry Atkin (From Purdey's) 41 Jermyn Street, London" and choked .003 Skt. and .005 Skt., 6 lbs. 15 oz., 15 1/8" LOP over a leather pad, 1 1/2" DAC, 2 3/8" DAH, 1/8" cast off, finely detailed scroll bouquet engraving and with "Henry Atkin" on sides of action along with "Henry Atkin, From Purdey's" on the bottom, straight grip, splinter forend, double triggers, ejectors, vacant gold oval in stock, nicely figured English walnut restock with fine checkering and drop points, automatic safety with "SAFE" in gold, originally no. 2 of a pair with a gold "2" on top lever, rib, and forend. A wonderful condition gun without issue. Bores were proved at .735 and both remain .737, min. barrel wall thickness is .025 and .026.
