Browning A-5 LIGHT TWENTY, BELGIUM 99.5% FACTORY FINISH
Description:
Browning A-5 20 Gauge Shotgun
A-5 LIGHT TWENTY, BELGIUM, 99.5% FACTORY FINISH
General Specs: Browning, Year 1973, 20 Gauge, 6lbs 11oz, Single barrel
Serial Number: 73Z 744346
What a great find we have here...a 44-year old Belgian Browning A-5 Light 20ga. sn73Z744346 made in 1973 that is as new, just no box. It has not been altered since leaving the factory with its 28" vent rib barrel retaining mirror bore, Modified choke, 100% factory blue on barrel, receiver, and trigger guard. Just a few safe marks on the right hand of wrist, otherwise 99.5% wood finish, 14 1/4" LOP to the factory butt plate, clear sharp engraving, still has the friction ring and instructions inside the forend wood, no splits, cracks, or repairs anywhere, perfect screws, just the way you like to find them. It has been shot, but not many times judging by its condition. The square knob stock with long tang trigger guard is highly desirable and 28" vent rib barrel scores high in the desirability department as well. Remember, guns made between 1966 and 1970 are in the dreaded “SALT WOOD” era, had short tangs, and are not as desirable as this 1973 gun. Weighing just 6 3/4lbs. it is fast to shoulder and easy to carry. These are investment quality guns, especially in this kind of condition, and this gun is being offered at a very attractive price. Sure to increase in value as you enjoy its use, this is one of the great Belgium Brownings, not a Japan made gun. Thanks for looking!
