Fox DE 16 Gauge - CSMC, 5LBS. 9OZ., 29" BARRELS UPGRADES, 100% AS NEW
Description: Fox DE 16 Gauge Side by Side Shotgun CSMC, 5LBS. 9oz., 29" BARRELS, UPGRADES, 100% AS NEW General Specs: CSMC Fox, Year 2008, 16 Gauge, 5lbs 9oz, SxS Serial Number: F205977 Tony Galazan has produced many masterpieces in his Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Co. (CSMC) facility. His faithful reproduction of Ansley H. Fox’s fine shotguns is no exception, and the quality renditions far exceed anything old Ansley H. Fox ever contemplated. With over-the-top engraving, masterful wood carvings and checkering patterns, and state-of-the-art materials, Galazan has brought us TRUE ART IN WORKING PLATFORMS. Every part is an exact duplicate from the original design, but made with better, modern materials. This fine, ULTRALIGHT, DE Grade Fox, snF205977 made in 2008, is a grand example showing the quality of CSMC Fox guns. With its fancy scalloped back action, deep hand chiseled engraving, gorgeous game scenes, factory upgraded Turkish walnut stock, borderless elaborate checkering, engraved skeleton butt plate, long 29” finely struck barrels… the gun just shouts seductive overtures to any fine gun lover. This is the lightest Fox 16ga. gun I have ever handled at 5lbs. 9oz., especially when you consider the 29” special order barrels. What a delightful upland gun to carry all day long with no fatigue. The long barrels and English style stock makes it a very racy looking shotgun. The engraving on the barrels and breech balls is very deeply chiseled and expertly executed. The gun has not been carried afield and has been shot very little, showing as a new gun with no dents or dings. To order this gun today would cost over $27,000 with the upgraded wood, skeleton butt plate, gold shield, gold triggers. My guess is that you would have an extra charge to get the weight to 5 pounds 9 ounces as well, as this is the lightest CSMC A.H. Fox I have ever seen. If you want a custom fitted case of your choice we can arrange that for you. Priced as we have it the gun becomes an investment vehicle that will go up in price as the retail price for a new gun from CSMC continues to rise.
