Parker GHE 12ga. UNMOLESTED, 1905, 32" DAMASCUS 95% CASE COLOR
Description: Parker GHE 12 Gauge Side by Side Shotgun 1905, 32" DAMASCUS, 95% CASE COLOR General Specs: Parker, Year 1905, 12 Gauge, 8lbs 5oz, SxS Serial Number: 133633 Look at this fantastic Parker! With all of the high condition guns being scooped up by wise investors, collectors, and shooters it is a rare day when one finds a near new, FACTORY ORIGINAL Parker with desirable options. There are a lot of GH Grade 12 ga. guns out there as they made over 22,875 of them with Damascus barrels. However, only 1500 of them had 32” barrels. I have owned many GH Damascus Parkers, many of them true gems, but this one stands above all. THIS GUN IS IN FACTORY ORIGINAL CONDITION IN ALL WAYS AND RETAINS MOST ALL OF THE ORIGINAL WOOD AND METAL FINISHES. This fine Parker, sn133633 made in 1905 has 95% VIVID CASE COLOR, ejectors, wood retains 95% factory finish, and the barrels are a fine Damascus with 99% vivid pattern, perfect mirror bores with factory bore diameter and 35 thou wall thickness in both barrels. There is not a ding or mark in them. A beautiful and rare example of a very special Parker, it is a fine, investment quality American double that will be a joy to take afield or to the Vintage Side by Side shoot to crush targets. BEST OF ALL, IT WAS ORDERED BY ARTHUR du BRAY, the famed Parker salesman, trap shooter extraordinaire, and one of Custer’s scouts just before Custer met his fate. This is stated in the factory letter. The GH Grade is the first with the tasteful game scene engraving and richly figured walnut, and at 8lbs. 5oz. this #2 frame Parker was undoubtedly meant for waterfowling and heavy use. Thankfully it must have sat unused but well cared for over the last 112 years! It even has good shooting dimensions! This is a rare opportunity to own a truly high condition, factory original Parker waterfowler at a reasonable price when you consider this is a premium gun unlike any other being offered for sale.
