Parker BHE 16 Gauge RARE!, 1 OF 71 MADE WITH ACME ACME STEEL BARRELS
Description: Parker BHE 16 Gauge SxS RARE!, 1 OF 71 MADE WITH ACME STEEL BARRELS General Specs: Parker, Year 1906, 16 Gauge No. 1 frame, 6lbs 12oz, Side-by-side Serial Number: 134762 The word “rare” is bantered about in this industry to a point it may have lost some of its meaning. But “RARE” is an important concept in the value of Parker shotguns as it relates to its collectible and investment value. In this, case rare is the proper term. This fine Parker made in 1906, sn134762, is 1 OF 76 WITH STEEL BARRELS, AND 1 OF 101 TOTAL PRODUCTION OF BHE 16GA. GUNS! Considering loss through the decades, there are likely less than 65 BHE steel barreled 16ga. Parker on the planet. Skeleton butt, strong case colors, beautifully figured English walnut, perfect Parker checkering, Parker gold grip cap that was standard on the BHE grade guns, and wonderful sharp, detailed engraving combine for a stunning shotgun. We have obtained the Parker Gun Collector Association factory letter and the gun matches the letter to the “T”. Built on the standard 16ga. #1 frame, the gun weighs 6 3/4lbs. and balances in hand in that oh-so-sweet Parker way. The case colors are strong, vivid, and 80%, the action in perfect working order with perfect screws, strong well-timed ejectors, crisp double triggers, and automatic safety. The 28” Acme Steel barrels are tight on hinge pin and breech face like a new gun. What a fantastic Parker for the 16ga. fan. Parker guns in smaller gauges and higher grades continue to grow in value. Heck, a friend of mine just spent over a quarter million dollars on a Parker A-1 Special 20ga.!!! You can invest in this gun and enjoy your treasure, use it on game and clays, and if you ever sell it you will make money on the gun. What more could you ask for? Thanks for looking!
